An Elegant Event and Conference Facility
on Kent Island on Maryland's Eastern Shore

Historic Kent Manor Inn is surrounded by interesting places
to visit and things to do.

In addition to being draped in history and lore, Kent Manor's central location makes many unique day trips a possibility, allowing travelers to "set up camp" and explore the region in proximity. A day at the beach, a tour of St. Michaels, Easton or Oxford are only a short scenic drive away.

The Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center is a 500-acre preserve located 15 minutes from Historic Kent Manor Inn.  With a variety of habitats, the Center is an excellent place to see the Chesapeake's wintering assortment of waterfowl and many types of shorebirds throughout the spring and summer. There is also the Horsehead Farm Wildlife Sanctuary which is part of the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center.

The Chesapeake Country National Scenic Byway is a great way to explore the Upper Eastern Shore including historic Chestertown and starts just minutes from the Inn at Kent Narrows.

If Golf is your game, The Inn can help make arrangements for you to play at Queenstown Harbor or Blue Heron golf courses. Both of these public golf courses have received critical acclaim from national golfing publications and both are only minutes away.

Many antiques and specialty shops reside on the delightful streets of Old Stevensville. Just a few minutes east of Historic Kent Manor Inn, an array of brand name outlet stores present themselves to the bargain connoisseur in nearby Queenstown.

Chesapeake Bay is the sailing and boating capital of the world. The Inn will help you book charters for fishing and day cruising. If you prefer to stay on the premises, The inn offers a lovely swimming pool, a fishing pier, paddleboats, lawn games, nature trails, and bicycles for your use.
